TOO MANY WOMEN EXECUTIVES
The human race can feel lucky about achieving such progress throughout history when there are cases such as this one. The mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo has been accused of pointing too many females in executive positions and thereby causing discrimination of males.
The courts in France, a country with an old and rich history of democratic culture have ruled that Hidalgo’s office is to be fined 90.000,00 EUR. This ruling has been taken ironically by her office and teammates. Hidalgo thinks that they should appoint even more females and in a shorter period because the balance won’t be achieved for at least 81 – 255 years… The deputy mayor Audrey Pulvar says that they will be honored to pay the fine.
These are magnificent times indeed since only half a century ago most of the women on this planet had no right to vote and were discriminated, humiliated, and abused on a daily basis. Hopefully, as from now on, we are moving in the opposite direction and there will be a rapid growth of women with executive political positions.
